  • Helps teens and adults manage anxiety, life transitions, and self-doubt

  • Specializes in identity exploration, self-worth, and boundary-setting

  • Provides affirming, culturally responsive care for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients

“I’m overwhelmed but don’t know how to slow down.”

“I overthink everything and still feel like I’m doing it wrong.”

“I know something needs to change... but where do I even start?”

If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

I work with adolescents and adults who feel emotionally exhausted, stuck in self-doubt, or unsure of who they are. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, life transitions, low self-worth, or identity struggles, often within cultural, spiritual, or relational dynamics.

My style is warm, collaborative, and direct, and I offer an affirming space for people from all backgrounds, especially BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients. I use evidence-based practices like ACT, DBT, and solution-focused strategies to help you set boundaries, manage emotions, and move forward with clarity and intention.

Together, we’ll focus on progress — not perfection — and help you reconnect with what matters most.

Stacy C. Yates, M.Ed. - Pre-Licensed Professional

“I’m the strong one for everyone else… but I’m starting to fall apart inside.”

“I don’t even recognize myself anymore — I’m just going through the motions.”

“I’ve been trying to manage everything on my own, but it’s getting too heavy.”

You show up for everyone else — but inside, you’re overwhelmed and running on empty.

I help individuals, couples, and teens navigate anxiety, grief, life transitions, and the emotional toll of trying to hold it all together. Whether you’re juggling parenting, relationships, or past pain, I offer a safe, supportive space where you can breathe, be real, and start healing.

My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and culturally responsive. Together, we’ll work toward relief, balance, and a stronger sense of self.

Shonda Johnson, MS - Pre-Licensed Professional

Shonda Johnson specializes in supporting teen girls and women who feel overwhelmed, anxious, and emotionally exhausted from trying to hold everything together.

Many of her clients come in thinking:

“Why do I feel so anxious all the time?”

“I’m doing everything I’m supposed to do, but I still feel overwhelmed.”

“I take care of everyone else… but I’m running on empty.”

“I can’t turn my mind off.”

On the outside, you may appear high-functioning and capable, but internally you’re dealing with constant worry, pressure, self-doubt, or burnout.

Whether you’re a teen navigating school and social stress, or a woman balancing work, family, and life transitions, the emotional load can start to feel heavy and exhausting.

Shonda provides a warm, supportive space where you can finally exhale and be yourself without judgment. Clients often share that they feel deeply heard and understood while also gaining practical tools to manage anxiety, quiet overthinking, set healthier boundaries, and restore a sense of balance.

Using evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs, Shonda helps you understand your thought patterns, build confidence, and develop coping skills that create lasting change.

Her goal is to help you move from survival mode to feeling grounded, empowered, and more in control of your life.

Evening appointments are available to support busy schedules.

You don’t have to keep pushing through on your own. Support is here when you’re ready.

Kacey Loveland, MA - Pre-Licensed Professional

“I don’t know what to do.”

“My emotions feel like they control my life.”

“I keep telling myself I should be able to handle this on my own.”

If you’re questioning whether therapy is really worth your time or wondering if it will actually help, you’re not alone. Reaching out can feel uncomfortable - especially if you’re used to pushing through on your own.

I am a highly skilled therapist working with adults (18+) of all genders who are struggling with anxiety, emotional regulation, and relationship concerns. Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and centered on helping you learn skills you can actually use in your daily life.

My approach is client-centered, solution-focused, humanistic, and expressive. You don’t have to have the right words or a clear plan - we’ll figure things out together, at your pace, in a judgment-free space where support and change can coexist.
