Armani Howard is a Masters Level Clinician. She has facilitated therapy with adults individually and in groups in an inpatient setting. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, and grief. In
addition, four years of her experience consisted of treating those with substance use disorder.
Armani has received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Johns University, Master of Science in
Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Canisius College, and is currently working on receiving her Psy.D at Immaculata University.
Armani implements techniques from Cognitive Behavior therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and
Existential therapy. Armani’s approach aligns with humanistic counseling which promotes personal
growth and development. Armani strives to assist one in reaching their full potential. Therapy with
Armani embodies a collaborative approach. While she supports one in achieving their goals, she expects one to be fully immersed in the healing process. Clients have described their counseling experience with Armani as warm, educational, and eye-opening.
